ITAR Compliant for Military Applications

Hallmark Nameplates is proud to partner with US Military suppliers on nameplates, graphic overlays, and electronic assemblies. Our products are thoroughly tested and capable of military-grade conditions, and our commitment to design and materials integrity is evidenced by our standing as an ITAR Compliant vendor.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is a set of United States government regulations that control the export and import of defense-related goods on the United States Munitions List (USML). ITAR is enforced through the US Department of State and is designed to protect the country’s military and defense objectives. For Hallmark Nameplates, compliance means that information and material pertaining to defense and military technologies for items listed on the U.S. Munitions List may only be shared with U.S. Persons unless authorization from the Department of State is given.

Our ITAR compliance ensures that if your organization is a vendor for the US military, our nameplates, graphic overlays, and electronic assemblies are similarly guarded as part of an ITAR compliant operation. Contact us today to learn how our products and complement your design.

Laser Cut and Die

Hallmark Nameplate offers state of the art laser and die cut fabrication and is known for being one of the highest quality plants in the United States today. Using the finest equipment available, our engineering team ensures quality control that meets ISO 9001: 2008 standards from the beginning of each project through quality inspection and shipment.

Hallmark Nameplate can die cut or laser cut many different substances for custom applications. The die cut fabrication or laser selected can be applied to EMI/RFI shields, gaskets, mashers, moisture seals, partitions, and thermal shields. The extensive materials utilized include all plastics, conductive compounds, EMI/RFI, foams, rubber and sponge with a thickness of up to 0.060″. Our laser cut and die process can customize the materials you need at the budget you require for the product you’ve designed.

Perimeter Embossing on Graphic Overlays

Graphic overlays by Hallmark Nameplate ensure that your manufactured product has user-centered interfaces that allow for customer satisfaction with your finished product.

With rim or perimeter embossing, your product’s end user can feel the contours of a graphic overlay, giving them an interactive sensory experience. Perimeter embossing allows the user to feel the keys at their fingertips. Graphic overlays with and without perimeter embossing allow for protection from the elements and extended product life.

If you’re interested in graphic overlays with or without embossing, contact the sales team at Hallmark Nameplate for a fast quote and guaranteed turnaround time for shipment.

We’re not just a vendor. We’re your partner!

We supply equipment manufacturers with the labels, graphic overlays, and membrane switches that make products user-friendly, durable, and long-lasting.

At the design stage, manufacturers have to consider how users will ultimately interact with the machinery or equipment they’re producing. And graphic overlays and membrane switches are the medium used to make that connection. Our overlays and membrane switches provide the visual and tactile feedback needed to let a user know how to operate the equipment or machinery and to interpret feedback from the equipment.

From medical equipment to aircraft, Hallmark Nameplate products have been tried and tested. We have implemented quality control processes throughout our facility to ensure that not one single item is sent to you without our team inspecting it first. We look forward to working with you on your next project.

The UV digital printer is in demand!

Last month, we shared that Hallmark Nameplate had recently acquired a new UV digital printer that features:

  • a 48″ by 48″ print area in 4 color process. This means fuller color on larger surface area!
  • flexible UV inks which allow for embossing without cracking
  • processes which can be paired with traditional screenprinting

You heard the good news and you’ve responded. Our quotes for use of this new equipment have increased and we’re happily able to bid jobs we would’ve otherwise had to decline. If you’ve got a need for a large-format color project, contact us today and we’d love to meet your needs.
